5.E.2 Recommendation to accept a FY24 Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) sub-grant award from the State of Nevada, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) in the amount of [$112,000.00; no county match] retroactive from October 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024 to support Training and Technical Assistance for implementation of the Sobriety Treatment and Recovery Team (START); START pilot project evaluation; and provide substance use disorder (SUD)/Co-Occurring Disorder (COD) evaluations and assessments for parent participants; authorize the Acting Director of the Human Services Agency to execute the grant award documents; and direct the Comptroller's Office to make the necessary budget amendments.
