Recommendation to accept the Medical Marijuana FY24 subgrant award from the State of Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) in the amount of [$108,000.00; no county match] to provide behavioral health services for clients with substance use issues retroactive for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024; authorize the Division Director of Human Services Agency to retroactively execute the sub-grant; and direct the Comptroller's office to make the necessary budget amendments. Funds from this subgrant award will be used to contract with Substance Abuse Prevention & Treatment Agency (SAPTA) certified providers to serve and assess clients referred by the County for substance use disorder treatment.
