Recommendation to approve the budget amendments totaling an increase of [$100,962.00; no county match] in both revenue and expenditures to the EPA Inflation Reduction Act-CAA Special Purpose Activities Grant retroactive to July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, and direct the Comptroller's office to make the appropriate budget amendments. The purpose of this grant agreement is to provide funding for the Air Quality Monitoring Network to purchase and install new air monitoring equipment to monitor for National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) pollutants. This project will improve monitoring and data availability of criteria polluntants so that Washoe County residents, especially those in historically underserved communities, will have the most current and accurate information.
