Recommendation to approve, pursuant to NRS 244.1505, Commission District Special Fund disbursement in the amount of [$2,000.00] for Fiscal Year 2023-2024; District 1 Commissioner Alexis Hill recommends a [$1,000.00] grant to TEDxReno - a non-profit organization, created for religious, charitable or educational purposes - to support the independently organized TEDx event; and a [$1,000.00] grant to the Nevada Interfaith Association -- a non-profit organization created for religious, charitable or educational purposes -- to support the 2024 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Interfaith Memorial Celebration; to approve Resolutions necessary for same; and direct the Comptroller's Office to make the necessary disbursements of funds.
