Good morning County Commissioners: My name is Bari Levinson and I am a resident of Washoe County. I want to give a hearty thank you to the new registrar of voters, Cari Ann Burgess, and all the election workers for running a smooth election. I personally voted by mail and have total confidence in the system, and confidence that my vote was accurately counted.
There has been no evidence in any recent election of voter fraud that would have materially changed the election results. I have full confidence in all methods of voting, including mail-in and in-person machine voting. I have actually less confidence in hand counted ballots given the factor of possible human error in this process.
Again, thank you for running a smooth election and I urge you all to vote YES to certify this election.
