Recommendation to approve Resolution R24-14 calling a public hearing (to be set for May 14, 2024) on the amendment of the boundaries of District No. 24 (Groundwater Remediation/Central Truckee Meadows Remediation District) in Washoe County, Nevada; providing for a notice of hearing and for other matters properly related thereto. The Central Truckee Meadows Remediation District was formed in 1997 to remediate tetrachloroethene (PCE) contamination of groundwater in the central Truckee Meadows area. The District is also tasked with updating both the Service Area Boundary and Contaminant Boundary based on continuous analysis and modeling efforts. Community Services. (All Commission Districts.)
