Recommendation to approve, pursuant to NRS 244.1505, Commission District Special Fund disbursement in the amount of [$5,000.00] for Fiscal Year 2023-2024; District 5 Commissioner Jeanne Herman recommends a [$2,500.00] grant to the Circle of Life Hospice Foundation -- a nonprofit organization created for charitable, religious, or educational purposes -- to support the program's caregiving support; and a [$2,500.00] grant to the Great Basin Chaplain Corps -- a nonprofit organization created for charitable, religious, or educational purposes -- for the purpose of supporting its mission of providing support and comfort in the time of grief, trauma, and loss; approve Resolutions necessary for same; and direct the Comptroller's Office to make the necessary disbursements of funds.
