I oppose this item. This should not be approved for certification. A hand recount should have been done with the paper ballots cast and the paper printouts from the machines. That could either instill confidence in future votes or prove that the concerns of the people are well-founded. This is not a right or left issue. The people have lost confidence in our vote results. Do not approve.

As an Election Worker and a resident of Washoe County, I support a vote to accept the Canvass of the Vote for the recount. MR. Beadles lives in a fantasy world; the electoral process in Washoe County is accurate, true and secure. The Risk Limiting Audits give us feedback that the process exceeds the limit of human error, and we can all be confident that the elections results are accurate. Commissioner Church, please do more research, including referring to the Washoe County Voters website pages on the process and security of the election process. If you still have any confusion, please refer to the Nevada Law. You need to represent your constituency, not some ignorant troublemaker. Vote to accept the Canvass. Thank you
