Recommendation to: (1) award a bid and approve the Agreement to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for the 911 Parr Boulevard Area Control 4 Roof Restoration Project, PWP-WA-2024-376 [staff recommends CTR Roofing, LTD, in the amount of $240,000.00 (base bid in the amount of $176,000.00 plus bid alternates 1 and 2 in the amount of $64,000.00)]; (2) approve the purchase of roofing materials from Garland, DBS [in the amount of $523,051.56] utilizing Racine County, Wisconsin Contract # PW1925 pursuant to the joinder provision of Nevada Revised Statute 332.195; and (3) approve a project contingency fund in the amount of $25,000, for a total Restoration Project cost of $788,051.56. This capital project will ensure the integrity of the roof system, preventing damage and preserving the lifespan of the Washoe County Regional Detention Center, located at 911 Parr Boulevard, Reno.
