Recommendation to acknowledge Interlocal Contract between Public Agencies for Access and Visitation Mediation Grant October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2028, between the County of Washoe, Second Judicial District Court and the State of Nevada, Department of Health and Human Services and Division of Welfare and Supportive Services, for the purpose of establishing and administering programs to support and facilitate non-custodial parents' access to visitation of their children, by means of activities including mediation for the development of parenting plans and the development of guidelines for visitation and alternative custody arrangements. The estimated budget for these services for fiscal year 2024 to fiscal year 2028 is not to exceed $177,777.60 (approximately $44,444.40 for each fiscal year) reimbursed through federal Title -IV-D funds.
