Recommendation to approve a FFY 2024 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) grant passed through the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) from the State of Nevada, Division of Emergency Management (NDEM) awarding [$166,000.00, no County match required], for the Perimeter Platform Project. Perimeter is a web-based platform tool that allows enhancing situational awareness, increasing citizen preparedness, and strengthening operational communications. Grant term is retroactive from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2026. If approved, authorize the County Manager or his designee to sign the grant award documents when received; and direct Finance to make the necessary budget amendments. Manager.
