7.E.1 Recommendation to accept the project change request for the FY 2025 Office of Traffic Safety School Zone Grant award from the State of Nevada Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety [amount not to exceed $5,000.00, 25% In-Kind county match required] as administered through the State of Nevada Department of Public Safety Office of Traffic Safety, to cover overtime costs related to school zone traffic enforcement, for the grant term which will begin upon receipt of the Authorization to Proceed notification through September 30, 2025 and if approved, direct Finance to make the necessary budget amendments and authorize Sheriff Balaam to execute grant award documents.
