This item provides a summary of federal legislative activities of county staff, contract lobbyists, and elected officials during the first, second and third quarters of 2025, including but not limited to contacts with the members and staff of Nevada's congressional delegation on matters such as updates on federal lands bills, impacts from cuts to key federal programs providing services and support to vulnerable populations, impacts from delayed receipt of grant funds, requests for support for legislative measures, tours of Washoe County facilities, and requests for appropriations for Federal Fiscal Year 2026.
