Recommendation to accept a fiscal year 2027 State of Nevada Department of Human Services grant award [amount not to exceed $30,000.00, no County match required] as administered from the State of Nevada Department of Human Services, State FY 2027 project number DO 1721-1, to support the Human Exploitation and Recovery Operations (HERO) Team/Regional Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) Unit for the retroactive grant period of January 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027; authorize the Sheriff to retroactively execute the award document; and direct Finance to make the necessary budget amendments.
