    Dear commissioners,

I am writing to express my concern and outrage regarding your recent decision to vote against the certification of Votes during the 2024 Primary elections. This action is not only deeply concerning but raises serious doubts about the integrity and competence of the commission.

Your refusal to certify the votes suggests gross incompetence or outright corruption within the commission. As elected officials entrusted with the sacred duty of upholding democratic principles and ensuring fair elections, your actions betray the public trust and undermine the very foundation of our democratic process.

The evidence of corruption within the commission is abundantly clear:

    1. Lack of Transparency

    2. Political Interference

    3. Disregard for Legal Standards

    4. Pattern of Behavior

Given these grave concerns, I believe that those who refuse to certify the votes or don't believe the democratic process, you should resign immediately. Your continued presence in office undermines public confidence in our electoral system and erodes the foundations of our democracy.

Furthermore, I urge you to create an independent investigation into the commission's decision and give them reasons why they don't have the certification of votes in the 2024 Primary elections. Also, I asked each commissioners who accept money or support from Beadles. If the commissioner refuses it because their candidates (Beadles-endorsed) lose the election maybe they don't want people to speak up or participate to vote who vote against them. The people of Washoe County deserve answers, accountability, and assurances that such a flagrant disregard for democratic principles will not be tolerated or repeated.

In conclusion, I call each commissioner who is not for community interests for political reasons, you should resign from your position. It is time to restore integrity, transparency, and trust in our electoral process.

    Sincerely,

    Pablo Nava Duran

Please vote YES to canvass the recount. There is no evidence that this primary election was anything but free and fair, and it is your duty as a County Commission to maintain the integrity of our elections in Washoe County.

I support the Board of Commissioners fulfilling its legal requirement to certify the canvass of the recent recounts. I have not heard any persuasive allegation of error sufficient to change the clear will of Washoe County voters in these two elections. Clearly, the margins of victories in both are so large that there is no reason to believe the outcome of the races would change, even if any of the unverified allegations had substance. My personal conclusion is the challenges to these election results are simply an act to falsely suggest that all voting procedures, staff, and equipment can't be trusted -- a disservice to democracy. Reject them.

As a poll worker, a citizen, and a voter, I am appalled that my elected representative on the county commission (or any of you, for that matter) would NOT vote to certify the recent primary elections. It raises serious doubts about your integrity and competence. You are betraying the public trust and undermining confidence in the democratic process, all the while attempting to disenfranchise thousands of Washoe County voters. PLEASE vote YES to canvass the recount.

As a Washoe County poll worker, I take great offense to the notion that our elections are anything but 100% trustworthy and accurate. Whatever minor mishaps may occur with regard to missing sample ballots or possible misprints are trivial and do not affect the election as a whole. They certainly do not point to fraud. People running for political office need to grow up and truly embrace the universal truth that sometimes you just lose, and no amount of crying foul and whining for recounts will change that. We poll workers and the people who train and oversee us are 100% dedicated to ensuring every person who is entitled to vote is able to vote, and those votes are treated as sacred and handled with the utmost care throughout the entire election process. To question the validity of our election results is a slap in the face and a performative waste of time and money (to say nothing of the damage it does to our civic pride and engagement). Please certify the 2024 Primary Election results (vote YES to canvass the recount vote) because November is right around the corner, and you know what a firestorm THAT is going to be, no matter how smoothly our polling centers operate or how quickly we are able to get results posted. Thank you
